The only thing I dislike about Asgaros forum is it allows access to WordPress. What can I do to have a different registration page/form and restrict people from WordPress altogether?

Asgaros Forum is a plugin for WordPress so it also uses the user management of WordPress as well. If you want to use a custom login/registration page you can use one of the existing plugins for this, for example:
