Registering does not send out emails?

I am having problems with this that once registered the password is not sent to the registered person to be able to log in. Have you seen this? If so how do you stop it?

Hello,

please check the spam-folder of the mail-box. If there is no mail, your mail-server is not configured correctly because those mails are sent by the WordPress core-system via your servers mail-service.
