PROFILE EDITING
Quote from bashiro on February 28, 2021, 2:04 amHello Folks,
I have searched through the forum for answers but difficult for me to understand.
My question is;
- Why does the editing of a profile send the user to the WP dashboard?
- Should one use a custom code to edit the PHP file more is there an addon or a simple way to do this? If so what file should one temper/edit and add the code? Ere the codes below still valid?

Thanks Bashiro

Asgaros Forum is using the default user profile of WordPress. That’s why you get redirected to the backend of your Website. To solve that there are different Solutions:
Use a plugin that allows you to manage your community. These two solutions will give you the most flexibility, but also take some time to set it up. E.g. you can add custom user fields, create an own login and registration page, and much more.
If you just want to have a simple solution, you can just use a plugin to add frontend editing for the WordPress Profile.

Thank you for the tip, @qualmy91
I was forgetting that the Frontend Utilities for Asgaros Forum plugin has the option to edit profile and avatar, which worked perfectly.
I tried to use the other login and register via AJAX option, but it didn’t work very well. I ended up using the default wordpress option.
