Private messages

Hello !

First, thanks for this great plugin forum !

A question : is it possible to ad a new function on forum ?

I would like to have the “private message” function for members of my forum …

I second this. We are attempting to implement the Front End PM plugin – but would prefer a solution integral with Asgaros. Since only user names are visible – rather than member’s email addresses – private messaging would be a very desirable addition.

Hello everyone,

a private messaging-functionality is not planned because its not a use-case for a forum-discussion plugin. You can have a look at existing extensions like BuddyPress which adds private messaging-functionality to WordPress. I also plan to provide BuddyPress-integration one day – but I will make it available as a separate add-on and dont add it to the core of the plugin.
