right now there is no feature in Asgaros Forum and I’m not sure if a forum would be the best solution for a private coaching.
But to get a similar functionality you could create a separate Usergroup for every user that receives private coaching from you. This would give you the possibility to create a category for every usergroup and only this user and admins are able to see this category and the topics. Just select the Usergroup when creating a new category and it will be not visible for other users.
For example
Users:
User1
User2
User3
Usergroups:
Coaching User1
Coaching User2
Coaching User3
Categories:
Coaching User 1
Coaching User 2
Coaching User 3
Of course it depends on the amount of the users that you want to offer this private coaching, but this could work if you want to stick on using a forum for this.

Thanks for the lengthy and helpful response. I have over 1,000 members so its not an option to manually run this process.
The solution I have in mind works perfectly as it’s how I’m in receipt of private coaching at another website which uses different forum software.
You basically post in the forum and only you can the admins can see your posts and reply to them. So for me I just see all my posts in that forum. The admins see everybody’s posts in there and can reply to them.
Most forums have this facility now as it’s really useful for so many things that require confidentiality.
I think it’s on @asgaros roadmap
