Post edit Button
Quote from brewer17 on May 13, 2019, 2:19 pmHello, as requested I write you here the answer to the questions reported in your post here:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/post-edit-button/
– What is your forum-role?
I am the admin.
– Do you try to edit your post or the one of another user?
Both. It happens the same thing if I try to edit my own or one of other post.
– What is the forum-role of the user who posted the post you want to edit?
I Tried with another administrator and even with a normal user. Same problem.
– Do you use SEO-friendly URLs?
No, I don’t
– Have you modified the URL-slugs?
No I didn’t change anything, I have just updated the plugin.
I am using Wordpress 5.1.1, given as compatible with your plugin.
What can I do?
Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback.
I again tried to reproduce this issue based on your described settings and still cannot reproduce this. Have you installed or updated other plugins in the meantime which maybe cause this issue (for example some caching or permission plugins)?
If no: Is it possible that you can create a test-account on your site for me so I can have a look? If this is really a bug inside of the plugin, I would love to fix this within the next update which I plan to release in the next few days.

Can you please send me a screenshot of your URL view-names (see picture below). It seems you have modified them and the values inside of them are not set correctly. Please keep in mind that all values inside there should be lower-case terms without space and other special characters. A slug should only contain the characters from a – z.
