Post as another user

Hi folks

My customer asked me to add a greeting message to every new forum. I’d like to post these messages under a different username from my admin account. How do I manage that with Asgaros?

I searched this forum but my search yielded no results.

Hello @katering

It is not directly possible to post as another user. The simplest way would be to just log-in with the account which you want to use for your posts.

But: If you are comfortable in editing your database you can change the author-ID of specific posts to a desired user-ID. The posts are stored inside the wp_forum_posts table.

IMHO posting as another user is the fastest and easiest way for me today.
