One forum in two languages

Hello,

my wish is to have one forum for two languages (English, Italian).

I just need to translate strings of forum. All content like forums, topics, replies will be in English language.

I am using Polylang plugin for website translation.

I just want to know how I can use .po and .mo files?

I downloaded files from here -https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/asgaros-forum/stable/it/default

Inserted them to wp-content\plugins\asgaros-forum\languages

And named asgaros-forum-it_IT.mo / asgaros-forum-it_IT.po

BUT, after changing languages in Settings – General section, nothing worked.

Can someone answer me, what I did wrong?

Hello @tomas

The default folder for plugin-translations in WordPress is wp-content\languages\plugins. Please also keep in mind that the italian translation only seems to be 67% complete at the moment.

Hello, did you succeed to put one forum in two languages?

I’m looking for doing the same thing, but I don’t succed, is there an option for that?
