Old forum is empty after installing Asgaros!

I’ve installed Asgaros next to another forum (Mingle Forum) linked to a new page (Forums) for testing.

All went well, after I checked the ORIGINAL, and all messages are GONE!

Your plugin shows the statistics of the old forum with 9000+ messages, but they have dissapeared in BOTH forums!

Now what do I do???

Hello yolandal,

until version 1.0 Asgaros Forum was a fork of the Mingle Forum because the original developer stopped working on it for a long time. Since then, a lot of code- and database-structure has changed so that its now basically an entire new system. I assume that Mingle/Asgaros Forum is using the same naming-scheme for database-tables. So its possible that the plugin did some changes because it analyzed the Asgaros Forum database-structure and saw that they do not look like they should be.

Did you made a backup of your database? Otherwise if you have a tool like phpMyAdmin available on your webserver I can try to check your database to figure out whats going on to make the content available in Asgaros Forum. In this case please send me a mail to developer (at) thomasbelser.net.
