Notification to Users When New Sub-Form is created

Hi,

Is it possible that all or a set of users get a notification by default anytime a fresh sub-form is created? I understand the user who created the form and those users who reply can get a notification when additional comments are added to same forum but is there a way to give users a head up whenever new sub-form is created?

Hey @intothewild,

at the moment it is not possible to send notifications if a subforum is being created.

Thank you for your response. No problem, I have a follow up question.

I installed and tested several plugins that allows you to setup and manage notifications sent from WordPress. None of these plugins were able to detect Forum, is Forum not built using Custom Post Type? I can see other custom post types in these notification plugins but none of them are recognizing Asgaros Forum. If these plugins can read Asgaros Forum I can setup a notification that goes out to a certain user role anytime a new “post” or sub-forum is added from front-end and this will accomplish what I am looking for.

Hey @intothewild,

Asgaros Forum is using an own table in the database and not custom post types. If you want to have some notifications you would need to hire a programmer to accomplish that for you.
