New version tweaks

Thanks so much for the new version and the new “Show Unread Topics” feature. It was at the top of my personal wish list.

Now that we have this great new capability, can we tweak it a little? It would be very nice for my users if this option appeared at the top of the forum, not the foot. I’ve already seen another post asking where it could be found so I may not be alone. Also, would it be possible to show the breadcrumbs and date along with the topics? I believe that would make the user experience better and add to the value of the feature.

Thanks again for the new stuff. There’s a little something in our Christmas stocking by way of saying thanks.

I made a few changes to the unread-view in the current development-version:

The location of the topics is now visible
“Mark all read”-buttons are available so users dont need to go back to mark all topic as read

Those changes will also be included in the upcoming update.

@Asgaros, Thanks for the “unread topics” button and for moving it to the top. I believe that it is even more important that the “Activity” button and will be used more. Maybe it should have a place in the menu bar along side or instead of the “Activity” button. In many ways they perform the same function. The “unread topics” button just does it better. ;^)
