SOLVED: Multilanguage Error

Problem solved I was not allowed to rename the page “Forum” to “zigarrenforum”. Now everything works. Sorry for the glitch.

Hi 🙂

I am developing a multilingual website and am working on a staging site. The original language is DE. The other languages are EN, IT, FR, ES.

The languages will be translated LIVE (Deepl API).

The main forum page is called: https://example.com/zigarrenforum where “zigarrenforum” is the main forum page. The main forum will be translated correctly into each language.

However, the individual forums and topics are not translated and result in a 404 “not found” error page. The “zigarrenforum” directory is translated correctly into each language, but the entire URL is not found.

For example

This works:
https://stagingsite.zigarren.zone/en/cigar-forum/

This does not work:
https://stagingsite.zigarren.zone/en/cigar-forum/topic/nikotinschock-ursachen-und-sofortmassnahmen/#postid-10

When I then click back to the original language “German”, “zigarrenforum” stays in the translated language (cigar-forum) and also lands on the 404 error page.

How can I solve this problem?

Addition: This problem exists only in the forum of the stagingseite. On the LIVE side I use another forum system so far and there it works fine.
