Moving a single Post to an another Topic

Is it possible to move a single post with it’s original poster, date and such to an another Topic and perhaps even Category on a Forum?

At the moment I cannot give you any date yet when it will becomes available.

Is this feature still to come or did I miss something ? I’m on the process to put my forum live and not to be able to move only one post is annoying.

Hey @felipe,

yes, this feature is still on the to-do list and not part of Asgaros Forum yet. At the moment it is only possible to move a topic to another forum.

Hey @felipe,

I’m sorry but I can’t give you any timeline for this feature.

Since this whole plugin is managed by only two persons (in their free time) it is quite hard to make a lot of changes right now. Thomas (aka @asgaros) and I are both really busy at the moment with our real jobs. I just try to do the support here and keep this forum free of spam, which already takes a lot of time. You just have to wait until Thomas can spend more time again here or someone else will support us.

Hi

I understand very well that moving a single post to another topic anywhere can be complex as there can be hundreds or thousands of topics.

But when you handle a forum, very often you have to “make some cleaning” moving posts to more relevant already existing topics for example.

Could you please provide a function where only Admin can change the author of a post?

For cleaning, right now, I make “quotes” of the post, post it in the relevant topic and then delete the original post.

If I could change the author of the post, it would be much better, by easily making a copy paste of the post in the relevant topic, then give it the original author, then deleting the original post.
