Migration from Asgaros forum

Hello,

I ‘m on the way to setup a forum on my Wordpress blog using the Asgaros forum plugin. I was wondering, if necessary one day, if it is possible to migrate to a PhpBB or aother kinf-d of forum ? Easy/difficult ? Has it be done before ? If yes, do you have any documentation, links ?

Hey @felipe,

I’ve only heard that WPForo has a migration tool that works from Asgaros to their forum. But you would have to check the forum plugins that you may want to use and search for their specific forum.

We don’t provide a plugin for migration to Asgaros Forum since it is a lot of work to maintain it. And Asgaros Forum is maintained by only two persons.

But it would be always possible to just take all the data out of the database and import it to another forum.
