Member group addition

I have someone managing my forum.
I have them registered as a subscriber.
I also have a plugin called Member, that allows me to create new roles and sign permissions to existing or newly created roles.
I created a new role called forum manager and gave that role access to all areas of the user interface.

They now have access to the entire user interface .

I when logged in at that role level I can even see the Forum section on the users profile pages.
I do not , however, see the tick box to add a user to a custom user group.

Any idea how I can achieve this with out raising their level to an administrator?

With or with out the extra plugin.

are you talking about the dropdown like in my screenshot?

This will be shown to you if your

  • Asgaros forum role is administrator
  • WordPress role is administrator
  • WordPress Capabilities includes “delete_users”

So in your case, it should be enough to add them to the forum role “administrator” or add the capability “delete_users” to their WordPress role.
