Login redirects to wordpress.com/log-in
Quote from gman on September 13, 2018, 2:47 amAfter a new user has created an account and then attempt to login, they get redirected to the wordpress.com/log-in.
If they attempt to login there, they get a message: User does not exist.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

It seems like another plugin modified the default WordPress login behavior of your website. Please try to disable other plugins one by one for testing purposes to find the plugin which causes this issue.
Alternatively you can try to change the login-URL via a filter as described here:

What exactly do you mean with “wp login”? Asgaros Forum uses the default WordPress login/registration implementation. If you want to use custom pages for login/registration – because they contain your custom forms for it – you have to overwrite the URLs via the available filter as described in the link posted above.

Quote from Gespanne on September 18, 2018, 12:15 amI initially saw the behavior and thought it was a problem but in fact the WP register is correct. IF YOU DON’T LIKE THE WP REGISTER… We implemented the Pie Register plug-in. It’s free and pretty easy to install and set up. It allows you to add additional fields to the registration form and it allows you to send the user to wherever you want after registration. We send the user back to the forum. You can also use Pie Reg’s logic to limit access to individual pages on your site. We use it in combination with Asgaros’ user groups.
