Logged in user not seen as logged in, in Forum
Quote from sune on December 14, 2018, 1:46 pmNew Forum installation, and it works for WordPress administrators,
but a WordPress-user (regardless if standard, editor, author,…) is not seing Forums set for “logged in users only”, even the user are logged in, and can edit in WordPress.Similar the Login in the Forum-menubar is visible as “Login” for the User with Author-rights, even the user are logged in.
For WordPress-administrators the login-text shows “Logout”.All the testet users are set as ForumAdministrator.
Any hints on what to do to fix it?
Will a deactivating and/or removal + reinstall of Forum delete all Forums?…sune, Denmark…
The forum is here: https://grobund.org/forum/
Only one Forum is visible for not-logged-users, and logged in users should see 3 more forum.

Uninstalling the plugin deletes all data.
If the forum cannot recognize the login-state of a user, WordPress itself can also not do it – because Asgaros Forum uses the login-management of WordPress and not an own implementation.
Those problems are usually caused by caching-plugins. Please try to disable them for your forum-page. If you dont have any caching-extension, try to disable other plugins as well until its working to find the troublemaker.

I made an exception for the cache for the Forum-pages, and it works now.
