Like/Dislike reloads page

Hey,

is it normal that a click on thumbs up/down on a post reloads the whole page? Wouldn’t it be possible to have it work like on social media without a reload?

Yes, currently its working like this on purpose because a lot of users disable the REST-functionality – which would be required for this – for security-reasons.

However, I have this “behavior” already on my todo-list but cannot promise yet that I will change it soon:

As a plugin-author I want to ensure that the extension works with as many configurations as possible without the need that the website-owner has to change his settings.

The following is a test for my GDPR thread where we just talked about pasting images:

Edit: see, I can just copy paste an image directly and it gets embedded.
