Insert image via drag&drag

is it possible to just drag and drop an image to your post? (and see it at the position where you have inserted it)?

Inserting pictures via drag & drop is not possible yet. But if the images are accessible via an URL, you can place them whereever you want by using the image-button of the editor.

ja diese funktion ist auf unserer liste weit oben, man ist schon verwöhnt aus den social medien fb usw. mit dem drop&drap

nerve mich jedesmal wenn ich über den editor oder uploader das bild zuerst auf dem pc suchen muss, unnötiger zeitverlust

Drag and drop or copy and paste. either way I’d like to add my +1 for this capability, please. 90% of my users wouldn’t know how to set up a link to an image. I know but I don’t want to do that because it’s so time consuming. We all just want to d&d or c&p because that’s the intuitive way to do it

I agree with @pb52, my users wouldn’t know how to set up a link to an image, as well. So a drag and drop feature could be really great, especially when you have multiple pictures to upload (stimme dir auch voll zu @HTB !!
I just builded a site for an elementary school and teachers said that the actual way to upload files isn’t easy and time consuming, so they don’t use the forum to share their pictures.
So I tried to find a multifiles / images uploader all around the web, but so far, I didn’t find anything… Maybe I’m wrong and I’ll continue searching but if anybody knows a plugin to do that, welcome !
@Asgaros, your reply was on February 2020, a long time ago then… did we soon get a chance to have this functionality or this is not planned at all ?
Thanks for your answer but above this, for your very nice forum, we really like it (and we’ll LOVE it when this option will be on tracks !) 😉
