Increase font size for mobile
Quote from nibl on February 12, 2018, 4:22 pmWhere can I increase the font size for the actual body text of posts? The font size in the forum settings effects the subject/title line, but not the body text.
I tried additional CSS in the customizer for body and P elements. That had no visible effect.
When I view source, paragraphs are set to 12pt which is why it looks tiny on mobile. I have switched to various different themes, but the sizes remain the same. This is a new, current WordPress installation.

Quote from nibl on February 12, 2018, 6:18 pmWell, it’s not the CSS that’s the problem. It has to do with copy/paste from a (mobile) text editor into the forum editor. The resulting text size seems quite unpredictable to me so far. I’ve tried changing fronts and using new documents inside my text editor but I get different results. I can’t consistently recreate the same results when I paste into the forum editor.
I’ve tried switching between the simple and extended forum editor, but that makes no difference.
Anyone have an idea how to work around this? I often need to post from mobile so I use a text editor, in this case Drafts on iOS.

The font-size-settings should work fine for the post-body as well.
I use the official WordPress-editor in the forum. This editor allows users (depending on the settings) to make text bold, change the font, its size, and much more. So when you copy a pre-formatted text from another location, it keeps those stylings. So in fact if those stylings includes a smaller font-size, the bigger default-values got overwritten. So this behaviour is by purpose.
If you want to change this behaviour, you have to check if there are some third-party WordPress/TinyMCE-extensions which allows you to change the copy&paste-behavior for the built-in WordPress-editor.
