Icons not showing

Hello there!

And first, thank you for this great plugin 🙂

I’m having an issue with my website though, since some icons are unfortunately not showing:

I tried other themes, I deactivated all of my plugins, and yet… no change 🙁

Can someone help?

Hello @marge

This looks like an issue with a deactivated FontAwesome icon-library or a conflict with the icon-library used by your theme. Have you tried to play around with the following two options in Forum -> Features?

Load Font Awesome v5 icon library
Load Font Awesome v4 compatibility library

i have box images vs the icons and would like to know what is causing that

fresh install same issue … and I don’t remember the fix from last time …

i think i totally reinstalled wp and asgaros forum 🙁

and yes, did it again right now and reinstall of wp now shows icons

only changed forum title / desc in forum settings and now the icons are gone again

anybody have a fix for this? nothing i do seems to bring them back.

This is written incorrectly (without spaces) in the database …

i’m using this one

fasfa-comments

no spaces and it was there then disappeared … didn’t touch that, so how would it be the database name

i tried with space and it takes it out, removes the space every time

so we are on to something? but can’t put in without a space, thoughts?

i deleted the entire text in the icon box, saved with nothing there and it brought me back the comments icon with a space

so this seems to be the issue as you said, thanks for pointing me in the right direction

but as soon as i try to customize it, same problem … thoughts ?
