I setup a new forum, but I dont want to go live yet until I can figure this one out (w/ some help of course), or abandon and go w/ another forum. (phpBB, vbulletin, etc).

For the forum itself (not the Wordpress blog page’s “new posts”) but on the forum, is there  a way to set it up for “new posts”, or “today’s posts”, etc? Here’s an example:

On the forum above, if you click up top (Whats new / new posts), you get a link such as:

http://anabolicminds.com/forum/search.php?do=getdaily&contenttype=vBForum_Post

And it shows new posts from that day, or since my last visit. Most forums have this function, I don’t see it in Asgaros.

I’ve seen some shortcode snippets on how to add maybe a button for like the latest 5 posts or something, but I know nothing about shortcodes.

Any help is appreciated…
