How to show notifications under a "notification menu " on the home page itself beside other menu items

Hey asgaros ! Thank you for such an ossum plugin and it is doing almost 90 % of the work. I would request a feature of showing notifications under a “notification menu ” on the home page itself beside other menu items, so that users would be notified of their names mentioned or any other notification received in addition with the existing feature of getting it on their mentioned email. This will help the user to be the website centric and will create an ease to stay updated. please please help me out on this.

This functionality is not available at the moment and would require a custom implementation. I plan to add this in a future update but currently there are other high-priority tasks on my todo-list which I want to implement first so I cant give you any point of time yet.
