How to make the forum "read only"?

Hi,

I’m facing an issue that will often require restoring databases.

I don’t want people to write only to see their content lost.

After I fix the issue, I’ll take the forum online again.

How can I take the forum offline, maybe remove the plugin, but still leave all those pages available for reading?

Forum/Structur

Change your Option at Status.

Thanks man.

Still not the solution though.

That prevents people from opening threads, but they can still post replies on old ones.

And most of the activity on the forum is from already existing threads.
