How to make login not necessary to read

Great script! I wonder how I can make specific forum accessible to all, without registration. Even better, how can do that just for reading. Replying should require registration.

This is actually the default configuration: Readable for everyone but replying only possible with account.

Hi,

I deal with the same issue: The category is set to “Everyone” with no member groups ticked.

Unfortunately, a visitor who is not logged in can only see the forums and subforums structure but has no access to read the content (the topics).

Error message provided is: “Sorry, only logged-in users can access this topic.”

I host on WordPress.com.

Thank you for any tips that might help solve this problem.

Please disable the following option: Forum -> Settings -> General -> Hide posts from logged-out users
