Hey everyone!

I am planning on setting up a forum as a part of an essay helper platform. My idea was to create a forum where people, especially young writers/students could share their works and others would have an opportunity to rate the usefulness and quality of those papers. 

As I understand I would need to make two polls or ratings with grades for example in stars from 1 to 5 and then make the results publicly seen right after the user puts his rate.

I would be very grateful if someone could help me with instruction on how to make this work, as I am a complete zero in it?
