How do you create dual forum pages?
Quote from FilWi on June 24, 2024, 11:16 amA bit of an odd request, but:
I’d like to have the forum on two pages.
First off, I’d like it to exist on the landing page (the websites main page). However, there will also be other content on the landing page, which will make browsing the forum a chore.
So I’d like to have a second page where only the forum resides, and when a user clicks on a forum topic or title, they would be taken to this other page, where only the forum shortcode exists.
Is there a way to achieve that? I’ve already tried creating two pages and pointing the settings/general/forum location to the second, clean forum page. (With no results.)

It works and shows the forum on both pages, but the forum links are different – on the landing page, it references the name of the page and remains there. On the forum pages, it references the name of the forum pages, and clicking through the forums keeps the users on the forum page.
