How can I change the font in forum descriptions?

I originally raised this question some months ago, but the responses are all spam so I’m trying again!

I used to have <font color=red> tags in some of my forum descriptions, to highlight certain areas of text to help users post appropriately. Since upgrading to v2.0.0 of Asgaros, any such tags vanish completely when saved.

Is there any way to highlight / emphasise some of the text in the forum description? Ideally I’d change the colour to bold and red, but would be happy with just changing the font to bold or strong.

I got forced to remove code-injection into inputs during a WordPress security audit. Keeping this logic would have result in a removal from the plugin repository.

Thanks for your reply, sadly that makes complete sense.

Please can I request a facility to modify the font in the forum descriptions in a future release – ideally to permit a change of colour, but enabling bold, italic and/or underlined text would also be an acceptable way of highlighting a specific part of the text.
