guest name option

Hi,

I have enabled guest posting but there is no option for guest to write name when he or she is posting.

Is there any way to implement this?

Hello sharif,

this is not possible at the moment. This is because that I want to avoid that a user is using names of already existing-users. Of course I can check if that username already exists, but I cant prevent that a user cant create a new account because of a guest used this name already for a forum post. Which brings us back to the same problem.

I need the same option. Let guest to write name or email. I do not might the duplication of the user name.
