Hello all,

I tried a translation of the addon in French, however I can’t apply it in the Forum, I tried all possible names thinking it came from the PO and MO file names but nothing no translation applies, anyone would have a solution?

Just what I was looking for but for some reason it doesn’t work, when I activate all options and click the register button on the forum I do get the pop up window and confirmation that a registration mail has been send, only that mail never arrives. If I only check the “sign on” box then I get a pop up window on the forum when I click on sign in but when I want to register however (the old way which leads to the wordpress default registration window) nothing happens, it doesn’t take me to the registration page, only if I deactivate the plugin everything works normally again. Any idea what could be causing this?

Please deactivate the Plugin and try to use WordPress default email functions like Reset password. WordPress Mails are send via PHP Mail. Sometimes it Happens that mailservers didn‘t allow those Mails or mark them as Spam. One solution for this is to use a Mail smtp Plugin like WP Mail SMTP.

Hi, I already deactivated the plugin as the WordPress default email functions work, I will try WP Mail SMTP plugin, thx for the suggestion.

This is great… not put it on yet BUT if people already have an avatar will it still appear?

I am using WP User Avatar at the moment.

It will only apply the custom avatar if it exist. I don’t know how WP User Avatar is processing their avatars. Maybe backup your page before activating or use a staging site to test it.

I did activate it and they are still there… phew!

Only problem now not getting emails for new members… 🙂

Ok no added the email plugin and see what happens 🙂
