Forum visible without registration

Hi,

I would like to utilize my question board in a way that is found through search engines and allows guests to “view” but not post on the question board.

I am having trouble finding where to configure this in settings? I’d appreciate some help solving this riddle 🙂

Hey @bbsjason,

first you will have to make your forum visible again. Go to “Forum” -> “Structure” and set access to everyone:

asgaros.de/docs/administration-guide/structure/

Then go to “Forum” -> “Settings” -> “General” and make sure that “Hide forum from logged-out users” and “Hide posts from logged-out users” are unchecked.

To allow only logged-in users to post something you have to go to “Settings”-> “Features” und make sure that “Allow guest postings” is unchecked.

Now everything should work like expected.
