Forum specific user roles
Quote from jason on April 27, 2019, 2:47 pmIs there a way I can make forum moderators or administrators for specific forums or categories only?
For example, I want a user to only moderate the forum “Example Forum” and no other forums. Or, I want an administrator for “Example Category” and no other categories.

Unfortunately, its currently only possible to define global moderators. I plan to provide more control about permissions and roles in future updates.

In closed forums, only moderators can create new topics. Moderators can also delete posts of other users.
What exactly do you plan to do? You can also assign an usergroup to a forum without closing that forum. In that case normal users of that group can create topics inside that forum as well.

Quote from Changes on May 21, 2019, 3:55 pmThanks Thomas,
The discussions are of a confidential nature. Members / participants must be able to trust that they can communicate freely. Now we use a secure environment but less functionalities. I also planned to protect the forum page with a password. However, that does not seem sufficient to guarantee that confidence. Perhaps there is another solution?
