Forum shows nickname

Hi Asgaros：
I installed the Ultimate Member and the forum now displays first name & last name.
If I want the forum to display a nickname, what should I do? Thank you for your help. 🙂

Hello @libertydarts

The displayed name is based on the settings the user set in his profile. If you want to change this behavior you have to check the Ultimate Member settings or look for a plugin for it.

Because I want to activate social login feature and also prefer to use front-end login/register forms instead of default wp dashboard login. 🙂

Im also using de UM Plugin because its easy to use and have a tons of options to the user profile 🙂

I tested others plugins like peepso, Ultra Membership and another 2 more, including Buddypress, but no one have what I need

Hi @asgaros

I am still looking for ways to let the forum display the nickname of the member.
But I have another problem, click on the member name and hope to link to the member’s profile page (UM user page: /user/user account)
For example: https://libertydarts.com/user/odrtswner
How can I modify it? Thank you for your guidance! 🙂

PS: On the left side of the forum list and the post page, there are name links.
