Forum not working with storefront theme

Hello guys,

I have installed the forum plugin but I can´t make any topics. I am working with storefront theme and is there where it is telling me that I have to add a message. Which I did but it when I submit it is going back to the same message. That I have to add text. I changed to the seventeen theme and it works fine there. Is there a solution to my problem.

I installed the storefront theme from the official WordPress theme directory and its working fine with the default-configuration. Maybe you made any changes to its configuration which prevents it from working.
