Hello @dkbjorn

This sounds a little bit like a problem in combination with your theme. Which theme are you using? Can you leave me a link here to your website so I can have a look?

Hey @asgaros
I found the probleb, it’s my WPSSO Core Pro [Main Plugin] there Make strange things on the forum plugin, cause there no problem, when i try to make a link page or site’s in core…..

I have made a account for you, if you need to investigate more…  i can send it to if you need it

If the problem is caused by another plugin you should contact the developer so they can try to fix this behavior. I cant make any modifications to other WordPress extensions.

Here Reply From Author of WPSSO:

DKBjorn,

We don’t login to client sites, but I’m happy to re-create the issue on one of our test servers, and provide you with additional information you can give the asgaros plugin author for them to fix their plugin.
As I said, using the old WordPress feature “WordPress Links -> Add New” is working fine. This is what you are doing as well? Creating a new link for the WordPress blogroll?

js.
FYI – That plugin does appear to use some kind of scrolling feature:
./includes/forum-editor.php:            // We need the tabindex attribute in the form for scrolling.
./js/script.js:                    // We need to focus the form first to ensure scrolling.
./js/script.js:                // We need to focus the form first to ensure scrolling.
./readme.txt:* Fixed: Scroll to the correct editor position when creating new posts

DKBjorn,

Hm. That’s interesting – of the tens of thousands of customers, this is the first time I hear of this issue. It sounds like this asgaros plugin is using some kind of jquery / javascript effect to scroll the page – normally this is handled by the browser. I’m not sure there’s anything I can do to fix that scroll issue with their plugin. Did they say what the problem was?
I installed the asgaros forum plugin, and used the WordPress Links -> Add New, and it seems to be working fine – no scrolling issue.

Hello @dkbjorn

You are right: I am using scrolling, but this is only used when you click the “Reply” button so that the editor is showed to the user. Other areas are not affected by scrolling.

Can you give me a screenshot about that “Add link” stuff you try to perform? Maybe that can help us to find the cause for this.

@asgaros
I got the problem fixed, when i have disabled a setting in WPSSO (unchecking the Content Filter option)
