Error: Attempt to assign property “users” on null

Hallo,
I am using the Asgaros Forum with the Divi-theme
I made a page with the simple [forum]-code on it.
In the past it was OK and i can see the forum. You need to register to edit the forum. I am administrator

Since a few weeks (an update ? ) I get following error on the page :

Error thrown
Attempt to assign property “users” on null

Do you have and idea what could go wrong ?

Hi Thomas, I’m not posting here about this issue, but to again alert you about the spammers that are active in these forums.

They are creating non-sense replies with links, perhaps to create back link activity for some sites.

Jusr check the recent activity list and it is pretty obvious. I see:

Sohijab

dipibim397

There should be some better protection to keep spammers like this away..

I edited my question to be clear.
I was logged in as administrator. The error apears when I open the page.

This unfortunately doesn’t help me. Do you have access to your PHP error logs? It would be good to know in which file and line the error occurs.
