Hi, as soon as I insert my HTML code of the emails in the boxes “new topic”, “new message” and “mention” the code is aggressively removed. Only the “<! -” tags remain. How can I solve? Thank you

I’m a new user of Asgaros forums (and supporter, but used different email in registering vs. Paypal).  I can’t fully launch the forum on my site until I can edit the notification emails.  I’ve tried to figure out a temporary hack looking at the plugin code, but it’s over my head.  If anyone knows a way to hard-code the emails for now, please let me know.

Whether I edit the emails in Admin > Forum > Settings > Notifications or in forum.php, there is no effect.

EDIT:  Almost got it.  If I edit the new post/topics emails in forum.php, then in the backend, delete the email content, then save, the new stuff from forum.php is there, and it works.

However, if I then go to the new mentions email and do the same, the post/topics emails revert to versions with no html.

This is a known bug caused by the security-hardening I had to do recently.

You can install the latest development-version as a workaround to fix this issue:

I upgraded to Forum version 2.0.0, in this update I saw that the HTML code problem is not solved. To solve the problem, I have to install the development version proposed by you.

Hello @asgaros

in version 2.0.0 it still doesn’t work, i don’t know if it’s a cache problem, but i tried it as soon as the latest version came out and the HTML code doesn’t work.

In other plug-ins the HTML code to generate personalized emails works perfectly.
