editor with autorefresh

Hi @Asgaros and thanks for your plug-in !

We are using it for our forum and it’s perfect !

but I have a problem to solve:

I needed to have the automatic refresh of the forum page, I solved by installing a plug-in and it works well, the problem is that the refresh works even while editing a post because the post editor is on the page itself.

Is it possible to somehow open the forum editor on a different page?
or if I refresh the page it should not delete the content written in the editor ?

Hello @emiliano

Is there any reason that you need the auto-refresh for the topic-page? If yes, you could check via jQuery if the editor form “forum-editor-form” is visible and if so, prevent auto-refreshing.

At the moment the editor is only opened on a new site when JavaScript is disabled.

ok so you mean that I have to change the plug-in that refreshes the page?

I dont know how this plugin is working or if its a custom implementation. If its a custom implementation you could change the logic as described before.
