Double quotes wrongly escaped in notification emails

Hope you’re doing well!

FYI, there’s a problem in notification emails.
If we have a double quote (“) in the text of the template (not in some HTML code you may include), it appears with an anti-slash double quote in the email : ” ->  \”

Example: Please click on “Subscribe” in the template becomes Please click on \”Subscribe\” in the email.

The problem appeared in between the version 2.2.0 and 2.5.1. It was not the case before.
My forum is not very active at the moment, so I don’t have any notification in between to be more precise.

For sure, it was still ok (no anti-slash) on Nov. 15 2022 9h50 CET (so under the version 2.1.0 or maybe already 2.2.0).
But there are anti-slashes in every notification since at least Aug. 12 2023 (so under the version 2.5.1).

Any idea why?
