Divi's "Blank page" template is ignored

Using Divi as a theme, the forum ignores the ‘Blank page’ Template setting for the page used as the “Forum Base URL”.

Is there a way fix the Forum Base URL to recognize the page template setting?

I dont know exactly how the Divi theme works. Can you give me some details about the “Blank page” setting, how it should work and what is the exact issue with it when the forum-plugin is used?
