Difference between Moderator & Administrator on Forum Role settings

What is the difference between Moderator & Administrator on Forum Role settings in the edit user options?

Does the Administrators have more capabilities than the moderators, and if so what are they?

Hey @jacovh3,

yes, administrators have more capabilities:

access all categories (even if not assigned the right user group)
can edit the structure of the forum, usergroups, ads and settings
can change forum roles of users (moderators can only ban or unban)

Moderators can basically only get capabilities in the frontend like:

edit, move and delete posts and topics
check reported posts
can only access the categories that they are assigned to

That are the main differences between an admin and a moderator.
