Custom forum icons?

Is there a way to display custom icons for forums instead of only using the dashicons?

Yes, this is possible with custom css-code. You can have a look at this topic for some example on how to use Font Awesome icons.

Thanks for the reply! I was more thinking of using custom images as opposed to another icon set (I should have specified). Any plans for that?
