Can you use Usergroups with Forums or just categories?

Just looking at my options for organizing things and was wondering if there’s a way to limit specific forums by user groups or if it’s just for categories.

Currently it is only possible to limit access by usergroups for categories. However, I plan to change this in a future release to make this options available for forums.
