breadcrumb on hover
Quote from Jim on February 21, 2022, 9:30 pm@Yves, That’s not the case for me. I’m guessing you have some font color set as white (or same as background color), either in Forum > Appearance or in CSS.

Quote from Yves on February 22, 2022, 7:06 amyes, now that you said it, it must be that, but the breadcrumb color is not accessible through the settings, you have to go through the CSS, but I’m a novice, can you give me the procedure to follow to identify the value to modify? thank you in advance

Quote from Jim on February 23, 2022, 1:46 am@yves: The breadcrumb color is not labeled “breadcrumbs”. It takes the color you assign to “Text color light” in Forum > Appearance. Change it to something distinctive or to the default (and also default background).
Then make sure you clear ALL caches and refresh page. You may need to go to several forum pages before the new color shows.

Quote from Yves on February 23, 2022, 7:31 amthank you, the problem is indeed solved, thank you.
Maybe you can help me with 2 other minor issues that I can’t resolve:
the first: In the French version, when a user is not connected to the forum, the message that appears (Veuillez Se connecter ou S’enregistrer pour créer des messages et des sujets de discussion) contains a big mistake in French, and I have searched, but I don’t see where to modify that.
the second is that on words with an apostrophe the program adds a slash, and the word “L’AUTRE” becomes “L\’AUTRE”
thanks and sorry if i’m bothering you.

Quote from Jim on February 23, 2022, 5:54 pm@yves, there are two things to consider: (1) a short-term fix of the French for your website, and (2) a permanent fix to the French translation that gets distributed for all French sites.
(1) @asgaros has recommended the Loco Translate plugin for making changes to translations on your site. https://asgaros.com/support/topic/how-to-modify-text-translate/#postid-5921 Presumably you have .po and .mo files in the plugin’s languages folder (or in wp-content/languages/plugins/), named for French (something like fr_FR.po), as well as a .pot file. The plugin should make the necessary changes to those files to get the translation you want.
(2) To fix it long-term, please click on the French translation here: https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/asgaros-forum/ You’ll need to see the Translator Handbook there to see how to get started.
Regarding the backslash appearing with apostrophe, I don’t understand. Is this appearing in translated text of the plugin, or in normal text in posts (topics and replies)? Either way, I don’t know the answer and hope asgaros will reply.
