Automaticly resize uploaded photo and remove original

Hi,

When a user upload a photo in the Asgaros forum, is it possible that this photo will be resized automaticly to a specific size and the original be removed from the server?

Or is it possible to automaticly change the MD5 Hash of the uploaded photos?

Hey @fanste,

you could create a plugin that checking all the uploaded files every day and resize them.

There are also plenty of plugins that are optimizing images, but I’m not sure if they are compatible with Asgaros Forum.

I’ve also created a new Filter to modify new posts and topics, that will probably be included with the next update. With that filter, it should be also possible to get the file and resize it automatically.
