I am happy to announce version 2.1.0 of the Asgaros Forum plugin for WordPress which comes with a couple of enhancements and bugfixes.
First of all: No, the plugin is still not dead! I am just busy on a lot of private things which gives me currently less room for development. My daughter, my full-time job and all the hassles Zero-Covid here in Shanghai brings to our family has a higher priority for me at this moment.
Remove content from deleted users
I added a new option to the “delete user” dialogue of WordPress which allows you to delete all forum posts and topics. This allows you to clean up your forum much faster in case a spam bot was going wild in your community.
Additional Changes
- Added asgarosforum_overwrite_is_feed_enabled filter
- Improved compatibility with Yoast SEO
- Added compatibility with WordPress 6.0
And where are the private forums?
Yes, I know I promised private forums for the v2.1.0 release … However, things will take a bit longer and I want to quickly push this update in the meantime to mainly ensure everything is compatible with the latest version of WordPress. So please stay tuned!
