Asgaros Forum v1.8.2: Improved Subscriptions & Mobile Theme
Quote from Asgaros on April 10, 2018, 11:23 pmVersion 1.8.2 of the Asgaros Forum plugin for WordPress is a maintenance release which comes with a couple of improvements and bugfixes.
Improved Subscription Management
All user options for subscriptions have been moved to the subscriptions area in the frontend. A new option allows users to get notifications for all new topics and posts. Its now also possible to remove existing subscriptions directly within the subscriptions area.
(Mobile) Theme Improvements
This release comes with a first set of style changes to improve the mobile experience and to standardize the overall style. CSS rules for the mobile theme are not longer located inside the mobile.css file. They have been moved into the style.css file and get applied via media queries.
Important: If you have applied custom css-rules or use a custom theme, adjustments may be necessary. A mobile.css file is no longer needed for custom themes. If you experience display issues after the update, ensure that you clear your browser cache to ensure that you use the latest files.
Additional Changes
- Added option to hide the names of categories inside of breadcrumbs
- Fixed a couple of display issues on small screens
- Performance improvements and code optimizations
Version 1.8.2 of the Asgaros Forum plugin for WordPress will be available in the next 24 hours via the WordPress Updater!
