Asgaros Forum v1.4.3: Mobile & SEO Improvements
The brand new version 1.4.3 of the Asgaros Forum plugin for WordPress comes with a lot of mobile and SEO improvements and adds Open Graph-Tags.
Mobile Theme Improvements
The mobile-theme adapts now better to the available screen-width. If a lot of screen-space is available, more elements will be shown. The topic-view and a lot of other areas got revised as well for a better mobile-experience.
SEO Improvements
A description-tag and canonical-links where added to the generated forum-pages. Sadly WordPress doesnt have an API for this at the moment which brings the risk that multiple description/canonical-tags get added to your page. There is no way to prevent this at the moment but the positive effects should outweigh this.
Open Graph-Tags
Finally Open Graph-Tags got added to the forum. When you share forum-links on social media-platforms, more detailed content is now provided inside the previews based on the URL.
