Asgaros Forum v1.3.5: More control over uploads
The brand new version 1.3.5 of the Asgaros Forum plugin for WordPress gives you more control over uploads. Two new options in the administration area allows you to
- limit the number of files a user can upload for each post (default: 5 files).
- limit the maximum file size for each upload (default: 5 megabyte).
Performance improvements
One of the main goals of each release is the improvement of the overall performance. Thats why we analyzed and optimized more of our code and reduced the amount of database queries needed for displaying each empty forum in the overview by two and when replying to a post with a quote inside by one.
Other noticeable bugfixes and changes
- The “Mark All Read”-button is working again
- Site administrators which are no super administrators on multisite installations can moderate topics and posts
- Signatures are not hiding the lower content of posts anymore
- Some rare PHP notices are gone
- The latest scripts and stylesheets are now also loaded in the administration area after a plugin update
- Minor usability improvements in the administration area and inside the editor
Besides of that we made many optimizations to our code which allows us to implement new features and make more improvements soon.
Version 1.3.5 of the Asgaros Forum will be available in the next 24 hours via the WordPress Updater!
