Asgaros Forum v1.15: Ranks & myCRED Integration

I am happy to announce version 1.15 of the Asgaros Forum plugin for WordPress which brings great new additions to your favorite forum-plugin.

Ranks

The new Ranks feature is a great new way to visually promote the most active users of your community. It adds a new star-indicator system to posts and profiles which is based on the amount of posts a user has. The required posts for all five available levels are fully customizable by new settings accessible via the administration area.

myCRED Integration

Are you looking for a more advanced ranking-system which gives you more control about how ranks are calculated? Then I have good news for you! While other forum-systems let you pay much money for it, Asgaros Forum comes with a full integration of the popular myCRED Points Management System for free including the following features:

Create Badges & Ranks based on the amount of posts, topics, likes and dislikes
Show Points, Badges & Ranks in posts and profiles
Give Points & Penalties based on created/deleted posts & topics as well as received likes & dislikes

Additional Changes

Added a new option to change the login URL
Added a new option to change the register URL
Added asgarosforum_profile_row action
Added asgarosforum_after_add_reaction action
Added asgarosforum_after_remove_reaction action
Added asgarosforum_after_update_reaction action
Fixed missing users in suggestions if their display name contains special characters
Fixed missing users in suggestions if their display name is not equal to their unique name
Prevent that users react to their own posts
Fixed display issues with some themes
Updated Font Awesome to version 5.10.1
Additional performance improvements and code optimizations

All looks and works perfectly as expected @Asgaros – MyCred Points and Ranks are shown in the forum as well as BuddyPress as pictured below.

Thomas, Hello! The reputation is a glitch. If you put a dislike, reputation falls by one. If you then again click on dislike, undoing it, then the reputation of the unit is not added. Dislik cancelled, and the reputation of -1. If you then put like, reputation becomes zero, and should be +1.

This behavior is currently by purpose. Imagine the following:

A user write bad things so you give him a dislike. In this case he lose points.
Now he edits his post so it is fine again and you give him a like. Now he get some points for it but because he did something bad in the past, this behavior is still included.

You can also think of it as the following:

User A is doing something good
User B is doing something bad and good

In this case User A should have a better record because User B has something bad in his history.
